Chicken


Smoked chicken breast

Ingredients:

  • ​800 g chicken (or turkey) breast;
  • 400 ml water;
  • 40 ml Smokeland smoke condensate for chicken;
  • 20-30 g salt;
  • 30 ml soy sauce;
  • 1 tbsp molasses.

Directions:

  1. Wash the meat, then place in a container and pour in the water, salt and half the smoke condensate. Cool in the refrigerator for 12 hours. Note that the white meat strongly absorbs the salt, so be careful not to oversalt.
  2. After marinating for several hours, transfer the meat onto a grid.
  3. Prepare the glaze from the soy sauce, molasses and the remaining smoke condensate and apply to the meat.
  4. Put in a preheated oven at 90°C and bake for 2 hours. You should put baking paper under the meat to capture any leakage.
  5. For the first 30 min of cooking, smear the glaze 3-4 times. After 2 hours, increase the temperature to 150°C and cook for approximately 10 more minutes, then turn off the oven and let the meat cool for a bit.
  6. Eat hot or if you wish to make sandwiches, let it cool completely. Enjoy!

Smoked microwave chicken wings

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of chicken wings (5-6 pieces);
  • 2-3 tbsp Smokeland smoke condensate for chicken (until fully covered);
  • 1 tbsp salt;
  • 3 cloves of diced garlic or 1 tsp garlic flakes;
  • a pinch of pepper.

Directions:

  1. Wash the wings with water.
  2. In a bowl, mix the wings with Smokeland, salt, garlic and pepper.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  4. Put the wings into a microwave safe bowl and cook at 800 W for 6 min.

After 6 min the wings are done. Enjoy good looking and aromatic chicken wings.


Grilled chicken breast

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken breast;
  • ½ cup olive oil;
  • 3-5 tsp Smokeland for chicken;
  • salt and pepper.

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil and Smokeland for chicken.
  2. Wash the breast and cut into pieces of desired size.
  3. Put the pieces into the olive oil and Smokeland for chicken mix, add the salt and pepper.
  4. Rub the mix into the pieces, cover the bowl and keep refrigerated for 1-2 hours.
  5. Preheat the oven.
  6. Put the breast pieces on a grill and cook each side for 7 min.
  7. Take the breast off and serve with a side dish of your choice. If serving with salad, leave the chicken to cool off before.
